The Columbus International Film + Video Festival (CIF+VF) announces a new slate of divisions for 2009 which celebrate the traditional forms of cinema while charting a road map to the future of film. You'll find familiar divisions, like Social Issues or Science & Technology, but you'll also find innovations, such as the groundbreaking "Basement" division.

The Film Council of Greater Columbus hosts the 57th Annual Chris Awards in November this year. We are the longest, continuously running juried film festival in North America and are committed to bringing you films you can't see anywhere else and promoting excellence in film by recognizing their makers.
