<br />
Scripts are where the written word and performance meet. Whether fictional or factual, screenplays are a form of art with unique demands, but also tremendous creative freedom. Not every great story results in a great script, nor does every great script make it to screen.<br />
<br />
Explore the techniques professionals use to tell their stories through an interactive discussion on common myths and misperceptions about the process of taking a screenplay to production. Learn to balance plot advancement with character development and craft scripts that will draw the attention of prospective filmmakers. If you’re new to screenwriting or just looking to hone your existing skills, don’t miss this overview of the art of storytelling for motion pictures and television. Even those just interested in the screenwriting process will find a new appreciation for film and the challenges of going from script to screen.<br />
