Dedicated to serving filmmakers and their audiences by celebrating excellence in film making, the Columbus Film Council believes in educating and entertaining people with the art and experience of film and video.

The Columbus Film Council presents the Columbus International Film + Video Festival, the longest running film festival in the United States. Held annually in November the CIF+VF shows work you can’t see anywhere else. This year’s CIF+VF is scheduled for November 3-17, with early bird screenings starting in September.

As part of the Columbus Film Council’s ongoing mission to connect artists with audiences and build community through film making, we have launched the FILMMAKER FEEDBACK series.

These exclusive screenings provide film goers the rare opportunity to engage directly with filmmakers on works in progress and completed films seeking distribution. Moderated discussions, analog and digital surveys and post-screening focus groups are used as part of the creative process and marketing strategy. Filmmakers and producers attend in-person or by video conference to create a real-time, interactive conversation.

All films screened during the Columbus International Film + Video Festival are automatically included in the FILMMAKER FEEDBACK series, providing winning filmmakers valuable insights from a nationally-recognized test market audience that is educated, sophisticated and social media savvy.

The Columbus Film Council is a 501c3 non profit. Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
