Sandburg’s Arithmetic

A celebration of Carl Sandburg and his poem, “Arithmetic.” This six minute animated film conveys the idea that numbers are part of the living, breathing world. Sandburg’s actual voice is heard throughout the film.

The CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS AWARD is presented to the film or video that shows the most originality and creativity. A nomination may be made from each division to be a candidate for this special award. The winner is determined by a consensus of the division chairmen.
